💜 Abigail’s Heart Events
Abigail’s Two-Heart Event
To trigger Abigail’s two-heart event, enter Pierre’s General Store on any day except Saturday, while she’s present. As you walk in, you’ll be taken to Abigail’s room, where she’s visibly frustrated, struggling to beat a video game. She’ll ask for your help, and together you’ll play the console version of “Journey of the Prairie King.”
Unlike the arcade machine in the Saloon, here Abigail actually joins you as Player Two and actively plays through the stage—though she might lose a few lives, which will also impact your shared life bar, so keep an eye out and grab those extra lives! After beating the level, she’ll thank you for your help and the scene ends. Important: this event doesn’t change your friendship points with her, regardless of how well you play.
Abigail’s Four-Heart Event
To trigger this cutscene, head to the mountain area between noon and 7:00 PM on a rainy day, during any season except winter.
You’ll find Abigail playing her flute, alone in the rain. Surprised by your arrival, she asks what you’re doing out there. You’ll have three response options: – “Just working.”(no change in friendship), – “Enjoying the weather.”(+50 friendship points), – “I could ask you the same thing.”(+10 friendship points).
No matter your answer, she’ll invite you to take shelter under the tree with her. Soon after, your character pulls out a harp, and together you perform a duet while the camera pans out, ending the scene with a peaceful view of the lake.
Abigail’s Six-Heart Event
To unlock this scene, head into town between 9:00 PM and midnight, on a clear or snowy night.
You’ll find Abigail at the cemetery. She’ll tell you she’s been training with her sword because she wants to live an adventurous life. She then asks if you’ve ever used a sword before. Your answer options are:
– “Yes, and it’s great!”(+10 friendship) – “Yes, but only in self-defense.”(+10 friendship) – “Yes, but it’s dangerous. You shouldn’t risk it.”(–100 friendship) – “No” (No effect)
Right after, Pierre appears and says Caroline wants Abigail’s help with dinner. Clearly annoyed, Abigail complains that she’s only asked because she’s a girl. She runs off and tells you to follow her. The event ends with you two hiding in the bushes, chatting together under the quiet night sky.
Abigail’s Eight-Heart Event
After receiving a letter from Abigail, head to Pierre’s General Store between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM on a night when she’s there.
As you enter her room, she’ll reveal she wanted to show you something special: her Ouija board. During the session, the board mysteriously spells out a message hinting that Abigail is starting to develop feelings for you. Surprised and embarrassed by the revelation, she suddenly kicks you out of her room.
The next morning, Abigail shows up at your door. Still flustered, she apologizes for how she reacted, making it clear her feelings for you are real—even if they’re still a bit confusing.
Abigail’s Ten-Heart Event
After giving Abigail a Bouquet, you’ll unlock this special event by visiting the mines between 5:00 PM and midnight—but note: it only occurs before you get married.
You’ll find Abigail about to descend into the mines when a bat suddenly swoops at her face. At first, she laughs, but soon a whole swarm of bats appears, making her panic and shrink into a corner of the cave. Your character rushes to comfort her, and you’ll have two choices:
– “What happened?”(+20 friendship) – “Are you okay?”(+40 friendship)
Abigail admits she might not be as brave as she thought. Next, you can respond:
– “You’re safe with me.” (+20 friendship) – “I was scared too.”(+40 friendship) – “You’re crying like a baby. Stop it.”(–50 friendship)
She then confesses she feels something more than friendship for you, and asks you to stay by her side. The moment ends with a kiss. If your character is a woman, Abigail also reveals she only realized she liked other girls after meeting you—making the scene even more personal and meaningful.
Post-Ten-Heart Event +
After seeing Abigail’s ten-heart event, a new special behavior is unlocked: on rainy days, she can be found on level 20 of the Mines—but only in single-player mode.
The first time you find her here, she’ll have unique dialogue. After that, there’s a 15% chance you’ll catch her playing her flute, creating a peaceful and poetic moment deep within the caves. The other 85% of the time, she’ll just be walking around, and when she sees you, she’ll come over to chat.
This encounter strengthens your bond and shows that Abigail is truly committed to the adventurous life she always dreamed of sharing with you.
Abigail’s Fourteen-Heart Event
This event occurs when you enter the path north of your farm, heading toward Robin’s Carpenter Shop. As you walk down the trail, your character stops to pick something from the bushes when, suddenly, a monster jumps out and attacks. With no time to react, you pass out—only for Abigail to appear, sword in hand, slaying the creature and saving your life.
After the scare, she comes over to check if you’re okay. Four response options appear, each revealing a different side of Abigail but not affecting friendship:
– “It’s sad, but there was no other choice.” (No effect on friendship.) Abigail responds: “Yeah, I did what I had to do. I guess the world’s a tough place. It’s you or them, right?”
– “Monsters don’t deserve sympathy!” (No effect on friendship.) She reflects: “…Aren’t they just trying to survive, like us? They may be our enemies, but maybe they still deserve some sympathy. Either way, I did what was necessary.”
– “It’s a tough world, kid.” (No effect on friendship.) Abigail comments with a hint of irony: “Huh? Funny coming from someone who just got rescued… but, yeah. Sometimes reality forces us to do things we don’t want. I guess I’m learning that the hard way.”
– “Did you really have to kill it?” (No effect on friendship.) She reacts, indignant: “Hey! I just saved your life, didn’t I? Maybe you should think about that instead of making me feel guilty.” Then she softens, saying she doesn’t want to lose you. She then buries the monster and marks its grave with the symbol of Yoba, as a silent gesture of respect.
This scene deepens your emotional connection with Abigail, showing her sensitive, brave, and thoughtful side as she faces the harsh realities of the world around her.
Ten-Heart Group Event
If you’re still unmarried, have given bouquets to all the bachelorettes, and reached ten hearts with each of them (having seen all their individual events), a special event is triggered when you enter Haley and Emily’s house.
The content of this scene depends on a curious detail: whether or not you have a Rabbit’s Foot in your inventory.
With Rabbit’s Foot in your inventory: the mood is light. The group gathers and ends up sharing fun gossip—including rumors about a supposed relationship between Mayor Lewis and Marnie.
Without a Rabbit’s Foot in your inventory: things change dramatically. The bachelorettes realize you’ve been dating all of them at once, and get furious. No matter how you respond during the event, they’ll all give you the cold shoulder for a week. During this time, they’ll have stressed dialogue and won’t accept any gifts.
After this week of tension, the girls eventually forgive you and everything returns to normal as if nothing happened. This event is a fun (or maybe embarrassing) reminder that playing with everyone’s heart at once can have consequences—even if they’re only temporary!
💍 How to Marry Abigail in Stardew Valley?
💜 If you want to take your friendship with Abigail to the next level and start a serious relationship, here’s a step-by-step guide to marrying her in the game:
Raise Friendship to 8 Hearts Give her gifts she loves (like Amethyst, Quartz, Banana Pudding or Pumpkin) up to twice a week and talk to her every day. Check her heart events to make sure you’re on the right track.
Give Her a Bouquet Once you reach 8 hearts, head to Pierre’s General Store and buy a Bouquet (200 gold). Give the bouquet to Abigail to officially start dating. Your friendship level can now go up to 10 hearts.
Reach 10 Hearts Keep giving gifts and talking to Abigail until you reach 10 hearts. You’ll also need to see her 10-heart event.
Buy the Mermaid’s Pendant On a rainy day, go to the beach and walk to the far right, across the repaired bridge, where the Old Mariner appears. He’ll sell you the Mermaid’s Pendant for 5,000 gold—but only if you already have 10 hearts with Abigail and your farmhouse has at least the first upgrade (with kitchen).
Propose Marriage Give Abigail the Mermaid’s Pendant. She’ll accept your proposal, and the wedding will take place automatically three days later.
Celebrate Your New Life Together After the wedding, Abigail moves to your farm, gains new dialogue, can help with chores, and there’s even a chance to have children with her.
